Julie Dossavi Company
Created in 2003, Julie Dossavi Company is a French based contemporary dance company directed by Julie Dossavi, Sue used to be resident choreographer at the National Choreographic Center in La Rochelle (directed by Kader Attou) from 2011 to 2013 and resident choreographer at Treize Arches Theatre from 2013 to 2015.
Compagnie Julie Dossavi is a registered charity and received structural subsidy from the French Ministry of Culture DRAC Poitou-Charentes, the Poitou-Charentes Regional Council and the Vienne County.
Julie Dossavi's biography
Training UEREPS Paris, contemporary dance option. Performed as a dancer with Jean-François Duroure, Philippe Decouflé (assistant for the opening ceremony of the Olympic games in Albertville), Salia ni Seydou, Kettly Noël, Gérard Gourdot, Kader Attou... Took part in music videos, TV broadcasts and choreographed fashion shows (Angelique Kidjo, Yannick Noah, Marc Ribot, Jean-Paul Gaultier...). Leads worldwide dance workshops (Cairo Opera, Marocco, Cameroon, UK, USA, Central Africa ...).
